Of being chased by that horrific beast in Foxâs hell. ButâŠeach night, I have the same nightmare. I thought it was some Easter egg, maybe some coincidence. And even more frightening was the name of said character. Just like how I had dressed this morning. It was a fox character, with a blue bow and a blue dress. And instead, I found a new character in the game. But when I went back to the acts to find Foxâs Hell, it had disappeared. The text turned red and the game went back to the main title screen. Eventually, I decided to type in my real name, âFionaâ in the black space. I kept trying to type in whatever name I could think of, but it kept rejecting each one. But it somehow rejected it and said âInsert Real Name hereâ. I didnât know what to use, so I put in âBendyâ. I thought it was joking but when I tapped on it, the keyboard appeared on my phone screen. âInsert Name hereâ was what it said in white text. It wasnât the standard âyou woke up from the nightmareâ card that appeared whenever you had a game over in Bendy in the Nightmare Run. The game suddenly cut to black before something oneappeared onscreen.
It was gory compared to the game overs I had seen in the game. And below his eyes was stained ink tears.
They were completely empty as though he was truly dead. What made it worse was Bendyâs own eyes as he was torn in half.
The boss then grabbed him by the bow tie and held him in a laid position. The Fox loomed over him and he started crying. The game over cutscene had Bendy suddenly trip over and fall. But it kept running after me, not losing health no matter what I threw at it. I kept going, attacking the boss by throwing objects at it. This was a new act in the game after all. But instead of healing me, they did nothing and Bendy kept losing more health. I lost some health while fighting the boss, and tried to collect some soup cans along the way. The Fox was clawing its way toward Bendy, my character, looking extremely angry. But I tried to ignore that fact and started running. What was worse was the fact that it looked more realistic than any cartoon boss I played against. Its face was covered in cracks, and instead of the gloves that Bendy and his friends wear, sharp pointed claws took their place. The boss was some kind of fox abomination, having hundreds of tails sticking out from behind. I tapped on the screen and awaited the new boss. I had looked at the updates for all the Bendy games and found nothing about this particular level. But then I saw a new act that I didnât see in the trailer. After downloading the app, I spent time defeating bosses, dodging obstacles and collecting bacon soup to earn health. When Bendy in the Nightmare Run came out, I couldnât wait to play it on my phone. Iâve been a Bendy fan since the day Bendy and the Ink Machine came out.
